Starting from 1 July 2013, the Construction Products Regulation (CPR 305/2011) will replace all of the previous Directive for construction products (CPD 89/106). The main novelty is undoubtedly the introduction of the "Declaration of Performance" (DoP) which, among other information, reports the performance of the product declared on the basis of the relevant harmonized technical specification (European standard or harmonized ETA).
The main purpose of the DoP is to enable customers and consumers to compare different products placed on the market, on the basis of common elements, identifiable and measurable, allowing you to identify the most suitable product for intended use. The CPR Art. 7.1 requires verbatim to provide "a copy of the DoP of each product made available on the market, in paper form or by electronic means."
Because some points are still under discussion at the European Commission and lack of clear rules, at the time the prevailing is to consider it necessary to send the first delivery of the DoP and whenever the product or the reference standard are modified, resulting in need to update the DoP and the CE-marking. To comply with this requirement, in order to avoid the costly and difficult to manage sending paper, which among other appears as an unsustainable waste of natural resources, Antoniazzis SpA distribute to clients the DoP in electronic format via digital download by simply clicking on the link found in the Technical Data section. At any time you can request to receive a hard copy in the PDO. For a time will be available on the market is packaging with the CE marking to date, both packages with the CE marking before.
Please note that the harmonized standards have not changed, there is no change in the types of products subject to marking.
